The V863-CA redefines the wah pedal experience, masterfully blending the classic manual wah functionality with the modern versatility of two Auto/Pedal modes. All this, while staying true to the iconic VOX tonal quality that has defined generations of players.

Unlike conventional auto-wah pedals, which rely on repurposed analog synthesizer VCF circuits, the V863-CA leverages an innovative design to drive the pedal's inductor directly in response to your input signal--resulting in auto modes with the iconic wah tone that VOX is known for.

This pedal excels as a traditional wah but offers two groundbreaking Auto/Pedal modes for added creativity and convenience.

The V863-CA is designed for players of all levels, making it the perfect wah pedal for both beginners and seasoned pros. Its Auto/Pedal modes provide an accessible way for new players to experiment with wah effects without the need for precise foot control, while experienced guitarists will appreciate the Envelope Follower mode, which dynamically responds to playing intensity to deliver unmatched expressive potential.

The pedal players have always dreamed of
Guitarists have always needed both a wah pedal and auto-wah to fill their needs. VOX has risen to the challenge, using cutting edge technology to combine both into one pedal without compromising on tone.

Hybrid Auto- and Manual-control
The V863-CA opens up new creative possibilities, pushing the boundaries of what a wah pedal can achieve.

Pedal Mode: Full manual control over the wah using the treadle, as in a traditional wah pedal
Envelope Generator Mode: Detect the attack of your signal to trigger the wah. The effect shape is set by the attack and decay times
Envelope Follower Mode: The wah changes in response to your playing dynamics, resulting in a smooth effect in sync with your picking hand. The effect speed is set by attack and sensitivity knobs.

In each Auto mode, move the pedal to pick up manual control. Release the pedal to fade back to Auto control, set by Transition Time knob.

The ideal tool both for beginners and seasoned players alike
Take the stage with confidence, whether you're performing rhythmic grooves or soaring solos. With this single pedal, you can seamlessly switch between rhythmic Auto-Wah modes and expressive manual wah, all while enjoying the authentic VOX tone.

Whether you're exploring creative rhythms or delivering soul-stirring solos, the V863-CA puts the power of VOX wah innovation at your feet. Experience a new era of wah performance with this all-in-one solution.
