1993 Grover Jackson Dan Spitz Professional Rhoads – Book-Featured Guitar

For sale is a rare 1993 Grover Jackson Dan Spitz Professional Rhoads, made in Japan at the renowned Chushin Gakki factory.

Originally produced exclusively for the Japanese market, this was the signature model of Dan Spitz from Anthrax. It features neck-through construction, an ebony fingerboard with pearl sharkfin inlays, gold hardware and an unusual factory EMG configuration with an EMG 81 in the neck and an EMG 85 in the bridge.

What makes this particular guitar especially collectible is its documented provenance: this exact instrument was photographed and featured in “Jackson Charvel Japan: The Untold Story,” the extensive book covering the history of Japanese Charvel and Jackson production. A copy of the book is included with the guitar.

The guitar has some small areas of paint damage, mainly around the tips of the wings, which is common on instruments of this shape and age. Please examine the photos carefully for a complete view of its cosmetic condition.
