Show Some Love →Very nice, and somewhat rare, Pearl Mahogany Classic Limited Edition snare drum in 6.5x14 size with die cast hoops. Model MH-5314D. The drum is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice.
I typically used this tuned medium to medium-low since it has a super fat fundamental, but it sounds great tuned high too!
It's in very nice shape considering it's a used snare that's nearly 30 years old. There's a little bit of wear here and there and some minor pitting on the chrome. Nothing out of the ordinary of what I'd consider normal use. Throw off works as it should. Heads are used but fine. Wires have a few slightly bent strands but work just fine as is. No noticable additional rattle or anything.
