Show Some Love →Tama Charlie Benante signature snare. About a year old with minimal playing time, never gigged. It would be mint except for one small abrasion I just found while taking pics. My impressions are that it sounds like stainless steel but definitely a little more low end than typical…the special coating on the inside of the shell must be working. Great tuning range, loud cutting rimshots, and records great. Great snare for metal and rock! To my ears the Forks Drum Closet video on this snare sounds spot on. Overall great snare, but I have an Ocheltree carbon steel so this doesn’t make it into the rotation much. Can be picked up in San Diego, or I can ship if buyer covers the shipping costs.
