The Pitchblack X is a chromatic pedal tuner from Korg's Pitchblack X series. It features a true bypass and a built-in ULTRA BUFFER, allowing switching between the two. The meter LED offers bright mode settings for high visibility, with brightness settable at one of two levels.

The tuner provides ultra-high tuning accuracy down to +/- 0.1 cents in Strobe mode, four meter display modes (Regular, Strobe, Half-strobe, Mirror), and a built-in just-right tuning display that blinks triangular LEDs when tuning is correct. It is housed in a robust aluminum case with a strong scratch-resistant coating and runs on a 9V battery or an optional AC adaptor.
