Carr Mercury V 1x12 Combo Amp – D2F Padded Cover + Fresh JJ 6V6 Power Tubes

For sale is my Carr Mercury V 1x12 combo, one of Carr’s most versatile amps and an outstanding option for everything from edge-of-breakup British cleans to classic rock crunch and higher-gain tones.

The Mercury V combines a pair of 6V6 power tubes with a unique dual-volume preamp design, allowing the High and Low volume controls to be blended in Parallel mode or cascaded in Series mode for substantially more gain. Combined with the three-position Boost switch, three-band EQ and built-in attenuator, there is a huge amount of tonal range available without pedals.

The amp was retubed in June 2026 with a matched pair of JJ 6V6 power tubes. I will include the service/purchase invoice with the amp for the new owner’s records.

Also included is a D2F padded amplifier cover, a significant upgrade over a standard dust cover and great protection for transport or storage.Cream color with dark brown gator sides.
