Peavey Rockingham Purple Gloss Hollow Body Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Peavey Rockingham Hollow Body Electric Guitar in Purple finish. This guitar features a set-neck construction comprising Laminated Maple back & sides with a Laminated Spruce top, Maple neck, and 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Chrome trapeze-style tailpiece, ToM bridge and sealed tuning machines. A pair of Retro-Style Peavey Humbuckers are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume, independent volume controls & master tone controls.

The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile resembling a ‘D’ filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast, articulate playing. The Gloss finish to the rear is pleasant to the touch and assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a tactile and durable playing surface across the register, and with its 12" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The smooth lines of the body feel great in the arms, ensuring comfort in both standing and seated positions.

Amplified, the hollow-body construction of this guitar helps to deliver an open and airy tone as you would expect from a hollow body. The pair of  Retro-Style Peavey humbucking pickups provide a thick and full-bodied tone, well suited to a wide range of genres yet retaining their own unique voice. The neck pickup is round and warm, delivering a smooth tone with plenty of power for pushing your solos and melody lines to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and with a higher output can handle a surprising amount of gain for a seriously rockin' tone.
