Ibanez RG4EXQM1 Bright Blue Quilted Maple Body – USA-Market Special Run

Original Ibanez RG4EXQM1 body in the striking Bright Blue quilted maple finish, from the limited US-market run sold through Guitar Center and Musician’s Friend.

This is a particularly attractive example of the RG4EXQM1, featuring the deep blue quilted top, contrasting white binding and the distinctive finish that made this model stand out. The body was acquired as part of a guitar that had seen very little use and had been stored away for years.

The body is in very good overall cosmetic condition for its age. The photographs were taken under strong, direct lighting, which makes minor surface marks appear more pronounced than they do under normal lighting.

The finish would benefit from a careful polish. There are some visible surface marks and two areas worth noting:

• Neck pocket: A small, typical finish crack near the neck joint. It appears confined to the lacquer, with no visible indication of damage to the wood.
• Tremolo cavity: A small mark of approximately 2 mm near the cavity edge. It appears superficial and may improve with careful polishing.

Please review all photographs closely, as they form part of the condition description. This is a used body, not a mint or factory-new example, but it presents very well for its age.
