Tama’s wildly popular model, The Bell Brass, has arrived!!

Deep bass and powerful sound pressure achieved through casting and machining from 3mm-thick Bell Brass.

A snare drum that was featured on many iconic rock albums of the ’80s and ’90s and still boasts such an unparalleled presence that some sound engineers refer to it as the “TERMINATOR”—

the TAMA Bell Brass Snare Drum BB-156 is now joining our regular lineup.

It features a cast Bell Brass shell that is machined to a thickness of 3 mm after casting.

The ear-splitting, overwhelming sound pressure and the wide dynamic range—covering everything from low to high frequencies—achieved by this ultra-heavyweight shell are unmatched by any other.

In particular, this reissue model not only features an outer shell diameter of 355 mm—2 mm larger than standard—but also meticulously reproduces the original model’s parts, including the lugs, strainer, and snare tape.

We’ve achieved “that sound”—the one everyone thinks of when they hear the name “Bell Brass Snare.”

Experience for yourself why this model has been loved for generations.
