I purchased this super cool Gretsch "The Showdown", Model G4510 when the Americana Series was first released in 2007 in it's packing box -----put it under the bed and and pulled it out about a month ago. I took it to my Luthier, had the loose bridge re-glued and he performed an amazing set-up. This fabulouslittle guitar now plays smooth as silk with low, easy to play action up/down the neck and sounds remarkably good. The incredible, original box(with packing materials) is a wonderful plus with it's 1950s style graphics. If you look closely at the pic of the bridge, you may notice that the bottom right has a crack which my Luthier glued-----without this crack, I would rate this guitar as mint/NOS. The guitar is minty and the box is in excellent condition. Wether you are a player or collector----you will lovw this little campfire guitar and if you were/qre into Western Fast Draw.....how can you miss!!!!
I think I've see some videos of folks playing these guitars on YouTube.
