Fender Solid Top Mandolin, Model FM53SSB, circa 1999

Great playing solid top mandolin with a warm tone.

Key Features:

• Solid Spruce Top: Delivers a surprisingly bright, clear, and resonant acoustic tone with decent projection for an entry-level instrument.
• Traditional Aesthetics: Features an A-style body with F-holes and a classic sunburst (SB) finish complemented by multi-ply ivory binding, giving it a classy look.
• Playability Hardware: Equipped with an adjustable bridge for intonation adjustments and die-cast gold tuners with white/ivoroid-style buttons that hold tune reasonably well.
• Comfortable Design: The traditional A-style body shape is comfortable to hold and handle compared to bulkier F-style mandolins.
