PRS Kingfisher Bass Faded Blue Wrap Around Burst(2021)Used (s/n:CTID70187) Excellent Condition! Bass comes with PRS GigBag!

The Kingfisher is PRS's take on a traditional 4-string bass, but there are enough PRS touches here to give it a personality of its own.

This 2021 PRS Kingfisher in Faded Blue Wrap Around Burst, serial number CTID70187, recently came into Northeast Music Center in excellent used condition. The figured maple top and wraparound burst give it a much more dressed-up appearance than your typical workhorse bass, while the 24-fret neck and pair of Kingfisher humbuckers make it a very versatile instrument.

It's a good-looking bass, but more importantly, it's an easy one to understand and use./

The SE Kingfisher has modern signature sound that will grab your attention. Dual humbucking pickups give sparkling top end with a high midrange growl to give the Kingfisher a personality that will cut through the mix while holding down the band with its sweet warm fundamental tone.

Designed in PRS’s Maryland shop, the Kingfisher’s offset Swamp Ash body and neck-through construction provide sustain and evenly balanced tone. The 24 fret maple/walnut neck allows unlimited possibilities for your creativity and sonic palette, and the 34” scale length makes this an instantly comfortable bass for players old and new.

Kingfisher (4B ‘H’) pickups are deep, thick-sounding humbuckers with plenty of top end clarity and punch. These modern pickups have a distinct old-school tonal character that delivers that huge “clacky” tone missing from some modern basses.

The Kingfisher uses a 34" scale length and 24-fret neck, giving you a full two-octave range on every string.

A pair of PRS-designed Kingfisher bass humbuckers handle the electronics. Rather than loading the bass up with a complicated active preamp and a row of controls, PRS keeps the layout straightforward.

That simplicity is one of the things we like about the Kingfisher. You can move between the two pickups and dial in your sound quickly without spending half your time figuring out what every knob does.

Visually, Faded Blue Wrap Around Burst is a particularly nice finish on this bass. The blue follows the figuring in the top while the darker edge treatment wraps around the instrument and gives it a more finished look from different angles.

The familiar PRS bird inlays finish things off without taking away from the top.

This 2021 PRS Kingfisher is in excellent used condition and includes its PRS gig bag.

Every used instrument offered by Northeast Music Center is checked over and set up by our luthiers before we put it up for sale. With a used instrument, we think the actual condition of the bass in front of us matters a lot more than filling a listing with generic manufacturer language.
