ESP LTD EC-1000 STB – See Thru Blue 2008 - See Thru Blue

2008 ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe STB in the highly desirable See Thru Blue finish.

A fantastic example of the Korean-made EC-1000 from the late 2000s. This is the STB (See Thru Blue) version, with the beautiful figured/flamed maple top that gives the finish its distinctive blue/teal appearance.

The serial number is R0810934, consistent with a 2008 Korean-made example.

This is a particularly attractive version of the EC-1000 and the See Thru Blue finish was only offered for a limited period around 2008–2009. It is now discontinued and considerably harder to find than the standard black EC-1000s.

I purchased this guitar second-hand and have not modified or carried out any work on it during my ownership. It remains in the specification in which I purchased it.

It has a lovely vintage/early EC-1000 appearance and is a superb playing and sounding guitar. The EMG 81/60 combination gives it everything from powerful rock and metal tones through to clean and more versatile sounds.

Cosmetic condition: Very good overall condition for a guitar of its age, with some minor signs of use consistent with a used instrument. Please study the photographs carefully as these form part of the description.

The blue/teal figured finish is particularly striking under different lighting conditions.

A great opportunity to own one of the older Korean-made EC-1000s in a discontinued See Thru Blue finish.
