Show Some Love →Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi
The one that defined fuzz. The Big Muff Pi delivers that unmistakable singing violin-like sustain, crushing distortion, and harmonically rich tone that put Electro-Harmonix on the map in the '70s. Three knobs — Volume, Tone, and Sustain — cover everything from smooth, singing lead tones to thick, wall-of-fuzz rhythm grind.
A true bypass design, the current-production reissue runs on a 9V battery or standard 9V power supply. Housed in the classic oversized steel enclosure (approx. 4.75" x 5.75" x 2.5"). The sustain circuit has so much gain on tap it'll hold notes for days. Whether you're chasing Gilmour, J Mascis, or just want the definitive fuzz pedal in your rig, this is the one every other fuzz is measured against. Made in New York City.
The NYC original. Hendrix and Santana were among the first to get a piece of the Pi, and for over 40 years the EHX Big Muff Pi has been defining the sound of rock guitar.
Revered by contemporary guitarists and rock legends for its rich, creamy, violin-like sustain, from Pink Floyd to The White Stripes, everyone still wants a piece of the Pi!
