ESP LTD Thinline TL-5 5 String Semi Hollow Electric Bass Natural

The ESP LTD Thinline TL-5 delivers a lightweight, resonant platform for five-string bass work with its chambered mahogany body and spruce top. The thin U-shaped neck contour and 45mm nut width make this instrument comfortable for extended playing sessions, while the semi-hollow construction naturally projects warmth and sustain. Built for working musicians who need articulate low-end clarity without the weight penalty of a solid body.

The 34" scale with a thin U neck contour and roasted jatoba fingerboard (400mm radius, 22 J-style frets) creates a responsive playing surface that reduces fatigue during long sessions. The Graphtech Nubone XB nut at 45mm width accommodates five strings with proper spacing while the set-neck construction couples the neck solidly to the body for excellent sustain and responsiveness.

The Fishman Sonicore active pickup paired with the Fishman TL-3 preamp and onboard tuner provides articulate, punchy tone with complete control over your signal chain. The chambered mahogany body with spruce top resonates naturally while the active electronics cut through a mix with clarity, making this setup equally effective for studio recording and stage work.
