I've decided it's time to turn loose of my very long time companion... My 1972 Guild D50... it just hurts me too much to play it now... the wide body plays hell on my aged elbow and shoulder; time to get a thin body... It's a lovely guitar and still has a lot of music left in her. I've owned her since 1974, I'm the second owner. There are a lot of finish scuffs, only two actual dents, ALL gifts of the original owner. It's all original except for one of the string plugs. Original case as well, though it has some cosmetic issues... She has a fair amount of fret wear, never been leveled. I'm happy to do a fret leveling for her new owner, free of charge, if desired... (I know what I'm doing; I make custom guitars and do modifications and repairs: Io Custom Guitars, ) I'm leaving them til the sale so it's completely original if that's the desire. All the blems are in the pics... many look worse than they are because of the camera. It could fairly easily be lightly sanded and re-lacquered back to original beauty (I could provide that as well, but not free of charge: contact me for an estimate) but nothing is affecting it's sound or playability. Rosewood back and sides, Spruce top, Mahogany neck lovely Ebony fretboard. If the buyer is within 150 miles, I'll deliver it myself for no charge.
