Fernandes Dragonfly Elite See-Thru Black w/ Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi + Hard Case

Fernandes Dragonfly Elite, made in Korea, in See-Thru Black finish. This was one of Fernandes' higher-end models and is now discontinued and increasingly difficult to find.

I have treasured this guitar for many years. I used it to record my solo album, but it has never been gigged or used live. I am currently reducing my guitar collection with a future move abroad in mind.

The guitar is in excellent condition for its age and recently received a professional setup by a luthier, as well as professional fret work.

Originally, the Dragonfly Elite was equipped with a Fernandes Sustainer System and Seymour Duncan JB. These were removed from and replaced with a pair of Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi Signature pickups, professionally installed by a luthier.

The pickups were also given a subtle professionally painted green accent line, designed to complement the guitar's finish and extensive abalone detailing.

The original control knobs were replaced with premium abalone knobs, while the two small holes previously used for the Sustainer switches were professionally covered with matching abalone pieces, keeping the modification visually consistent with the guitar's original abalone binding and inlays.

The Fishman pickups are supplied with their original box and manual. The box has also been personally signed by Tosin Abasi.

Main specifications:

• Mahogany body with 5A quilted maple top
• Mahogany set neck
• Ebony fingerboard
• 24 jumbo frets
• 24.75" scale length
• 14" fingerboard radius
• Extensive abalone binding and inlays
• Graph Tech nut
• Locking tuners
• Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tailpiece
• 2 × Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi Signature pickups
• Made in Korea
• See-Thru Black finish

Also included is an Ibanez hard case, in which the guitar fits perfectly.

Please note that the original Fernandes Sustainer System and Seymour Duncan JB pickup are not included.

This is an unusually beautiful and uncommon instrument, with a level of construction and decorative work that is difficult to find at this price point today. The modifications were professionally carried out and give the guitar a more modern, metal-oriented electronics package while retaining a coherent aesthetic with the original abalone appointments.

The guitar has been well cared for and never used live.
