Featuring a mahogany neck with a SlimTaper™ profile, a mahogany body, an ebony fingerboard, a beautiful natural koa top, and the highly acclaimed ProBucker™ Humbucker™ pickups. It also comes with Les Paul Custom-style gold hardware, Grover® Rotomatic® 18:1 ratio tuners, CTS® pots, fully bound body, neck and headstock, a Graph Tech® nut and pearloid inlays. A hardshell case or EpiLite™ case is available as an option.”

This Paula is almost like new, with only a few signs of use and no major damage. Even the delicate gold hardware is still very nicely preserved.

At approx. 4.08 kg, it is a proper Custom Paula – and it sounds like one too. The ProBucker 2 and 3 do a really good job and can also be split, making the guitar very versatile sonically.

Above all, the look is something special. The natural koa top, combined with the gold hardware, ebony fingerboard and custom binding, gives off an incredible warmth – almost like a fine piece of furniture, just with plenty of rock ’n’ roll.

Despite the official SlimTaper designation, we would describe the neck more as a flat D profile with a bit of meat on the shoulders. It sits beautifully in the hand and plays very comfortably.

The frets showed virtually no signs of wear, but still had to be properly levelled, as the factory fretwork was not ideal. We therefore levelled, recrowned and polished the frets and then gave the guitar a comprehensive setup.
