Furch 7-String Yellow Deluxe Gc-CR Cedar/ Rosewood Stagepro Anthem 2025

For Sale:

Furch 7-String Yellow Deluxe Gc-CR (Cedar and Rosewood) acoustic guitar with Stagepro Anthem and manufacturer's original hardshell case.

Description:

The Furch Yellow Gc-CR has a soundboard made from Western Red Cedar and back and sides built with some of the most beautiful Indian Rosewood I've seen. The combination of finish and tonewoods provides a rich balanced sound across the entire tonal range with sparkling highs. It is extremely playable in both fingerstyle and with a pick. Includes Baggs Anthem side mounted pickup and fully functioning electronics.

Since I live in Colorado, this guitar has been kept inside its case and humidified with the D'Addario humidipak system at all times unless it is being played. Tuning stability has been excellent and it handles dropped tunings well.

There is one small blemish around the soundhole which I've attempted to capture in the last picture. Other than that, I cannot find anything wrong with this guitar. Frets still have tons of life and the fretboard is clean.

Please note this guitar was purchased NEW from The Fretted Buffalo (a great shop) and the first four pictures as well as the attached video are from them. The video is this exact guitar being played before I purchased it.

Shipping price is for the lower 48 US states only. Please contact me for shipping elsewhere before placing an order. All sales final.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions about this guitar and thanks for looking!

Manufacturer's Description:

The development of the Furch 7-string guitar has been catalyzed by the increasing demand for sonic experimentation among the more adventurous acoustic players who find themselves in need of an expanded tonal range. While our baritone model offers the deep bass of the low B string, all of its remaining strings are tuned a fourth below standard tuning as well, posing a tradeoff for some players. Our 7-string model combines the benefit of an added low B string with the lush sound of the remaining 6 strings which are in standard tuning, similarly to a 7-string electric guitar. This makes our 7-string version a valuable tool for the more daring acoustic player interested in playing acoustic renditions of heavy genres, alternative forms of fingerstyle such as slapping and thumping, or any arrangements that depend on chord voicings with deep low end, while maintaining the other strings in standard tuning.

The 7-string version has 2 23/64″ string spacing at the bridge and a 1 7/8″ nut with 1 37/64″ string spacing. Similarly to all Furch guitars, it features D’Addario XS 012-053 Ph-Br coated strings, with an added .059″ gauge B string. The bridge and the nut of the 7-string version are designed and manufactured in-house in order to faithfully transfer the vibrations of the seventh string in the best way possible, ensuring the extraordinary resonance Furch guitars have been known for.

The 7-string version is available exclusively for the Gc body shape.
