Sound and PerformanceThe Triple Rectifier is famous in rock and metal history for its thick, saturated distortion. Channel 3 delivers an aggressive bite with boosted high-mids and heavy low-end. Because it has a relatively dry and massive response, many guitarists use an overdrive pedal (like an OD-808) in front of the amp to tighten up the low-end response for fast rhythm playing.
