The unit can be configured via the Darkglass Suite app which you can download from the Darkglass website. The software allows you to select from a number of different cabinet IRs, or I believe you can upload your own.
The really clever feature of this unit is the distortion which you can apply only to certain frequencies using the high / low pass filters. When you apply distortion to a bass signal in general your bass frequencies are muddied and you lose a bit of definition. You can set this unit up to only apply distortion to the higher frequencies. Gives a very aggresive modern metal / djent style sound when dialled in.
