This American Standard Stratocaster commemorates the 40th Anniversary of Fender and plays and sounds great! The Caribbean Mist finish is a very rare color and is aging beautifully from over time. The "C" shape neck profile feels very comfortable to play. This guitar has been tastefully upgraded with Fender Custom Shop pickups which sound fantastic!
This guitar shows normal cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches and scuffs throughout the body with additional minor dings on the headstock. The maple neck also shows signs of aging along the sides of the fretboard and there's a chip on the corner of the neck plate underneath the neck pocket screw. The frets exhibit light play wear but otherwise still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
This Stratocaster had the electronics previously serviced, likely at the time the Custom Shop Pickups were installed, with a fresh pickup selector and TBX tone pot. The bridge was also replaced for a newer Fender USA bridge of the same style as the original with block saddles.
This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario EXL110 (10-46) strings.
