1961 Fender Concert Model 6G12-A Serial Number 03932 in Good to Very Good condition in my amp tech's opinion and who recently serviced it to freshen it up for this sale. It has the original Maroon color grill that dates it to 1961. It has a new tranny and 3-prong power cord plus some caps were replaced. The four (4) "rare" Oxford 10K5R-1 1961 speakers are original to this amp and were re-coned by San Antonio Speaker Reconing in 09/03/2009 (see receipt in photos). I am the second owner of this amp and purchased it from the Mom of an old rocker who passed on. The amp came with a black strap handle but had holes for the strap handle and also for the brown rubber replacement handle that I put on. According to Fender the black strap handle came with the 1963 Concert models. This one is a 1961, hence the brown rubber replacement. The amp also includes a Fender black cover in decent shape.
The amp plays as it should and it has always been played and kept indoors at home. As I am getting up in age (79), a couple of weeks ago I sold a 1961 Fender Deluxe Brownface on Reverb.com and now this '61 Fender Concert Brownface is on the block, too.
Full Disclosure: this is a 1961 vintage Fender tube amp that was a "player's amp" that was played for many years at gigs prior to my purchase in the early 1980's so, it is not a museum piece. As the second owner I have taken very good care of this amp. It is still a very solid and well-built Fender amp "with great bones" in Good-to-Very Good condition with a sweet sound and with many, many more years of playing left in it. It's value will only increase with age with proper care and maintenance.
