Up for sale is a Revive Audio Modified Yamaha M406, Six channel stereo output mixer that sounds beautiful. This one shows some wear with slight bends to both rack ears (see pics) but not very noticeable.

Comes with a full 6-month warranty.

These cool mixers are transformer coupled on the inputs and the master outputs for great analog mojo and warmth! They ride on 24v rails using a nice Toshiba Opamp for lots of great vibe and when pushed, good distortion making them akin to a classic API 312 in terms of tone, punch and warmth.

Each channel also offers a very musical three band equalizer for sweet boosting or cutting.

They sound punch with good dynamic range and bandwidth and when driven, great vibe for things like drums.

This one is in good shape for its age and works perfectly.

The goal with the service is to provide the ability to use 6-high quality transformer coupled, inductor eq preamps individually for tracking purposes.

The design of each channels quality and circuit topology is worth around $400-600 to get an outboard preamp of the same audio quality.

In addition we are cleaning up the power supply for lower noise and rejuvenation as well as all of the controls.

Should you want to use it for summing the master section has also been cleaned up for better performance so an all around great tool for any studio.

So the modifications:

This unit has been modified with 1/4 direct outputs for tracking Drums and other sources making it a great solution for additional preamps and for that classic Analog sound for various styles of music.

The direct output can be used with balanced or un-balanced connections and is Post EQ and fader allowing for equalization as well as fader trimming.

When a jack is inserted to the Direct output the signal is de-coupled from the master section (disconnected)

Master Section modification: The master section has been modified for lower noise by applying noise reduction to the power rails. All audio capacitors and power capacitors are also changed for lower noise and values are adjusted where needed for more warmth and clarity as well as audio balance.

We also modified the power supply for lower noise, better headroom and longevity making this Six Channel mixer ready to Rock!
