Ibanez EWC30PDE-RLG 1202 Low Gloss Natural 2012 Electro-Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have an Ibanez EWC30PDE-RLG 1202 Electro-Acoustic Guitar in Low Gloss Natura. Made in China in 2012, this set-neck construction guitar consists of a Padauk top with Padauk back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Ibanez Advantage Bridge Pins, an Ibanez Ivorex II saddle & nut and a set of Ibanez Smooth Tuner AS tuning machines. A B-Band SRTc Preamp is featured with a plethora of controls for tonal sculpting.

The Mahogany neck plays well, with the ‘EW’ profile providing a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with the binding and attractive pearloid 12th fret inlay adds a real sense of luxury. The soft Florentine cutaway is nice and deep, greatly improving access to the upper register. The smaller, shallower body size is very comfortable in the arms, and with two strap buttons is also ready for seated or standing performance. 

The voice of the Ibanez is clear and direct, with a warm rounded low end, tight mids and a crisp articulate top end, all without sounding overly bright. The all Padauk construction creates a bright, punchy tone that presents well projecting a dynamic sonic range that sings each note. The B-Band SRTc Preamp captures the natural voice of the instrument perfectly, whilst offering hassle free tone adjustments with the soundhole mounted controls. Overall a stunning looking guitar in both looks and sound.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face of the headstock demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. 

Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.

Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and scuffing, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Delamination of the binding is apparent to the top and sides. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. 

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition.

Structural: The bridge displays slight lifting, with this it does not affect the structure of the instrument and should not worsen. With this the action is set lower than normal offering a comfortable playing height.
