Fender Stratocaster 1998 - Candy Apple Red- Mexico

This is a nice one.  Purchased for the 2nd owner, who said he bought it from the original owner who bought it new and never played it.  The seller I bought it from said he'd had it for a few years and had only played it a couple of times.  
Still has the plastic on the pickguard and backplate.  Definitely a 1st for me seeing one this old in this condition.  No dings, dents or scratches I can find on it.  I'm sure there are small things from being handled now and again, but I cannot find any flaw in it.  Came to me with 10s and I put 9s on it...it could use a better setup.  

Weighs in a 7lb 14oz on my kitchen scale.

Comes in a generic hard case.  One of the latches is a bit "catchy", you have to jiggle it a bit to make it straighten out.  
Trem arm is included and in the case.
All electronics are 100% working as expected, no noise in the switch or pots.  Clean guitar.  I think it needs a deep cleaning more than anything.
