Very cool and vibey early β90s MIJ Precision Bass built around a genuine Squier Japan Silver Series neck. This one has a ton of character and honestly just presents incredibly well in person. The natural/worn wood aesthetic paired with the darker grain gives it a really unique look that feels somewhere between boutique relic and old shop-built workhorse bass.
Just cleaned, restrung and professionally set up. Plays great with comfortable action and a nice broken-in feel.
From what we can tell, the neck is a genuine early β90s Squier Japan Silver Series neck with an SPB-33R neck stamp. The body appears to have either been stripped/refinished at some point or may possibly be a replacement body altogether. Because of that, we are selling this as a partscaster-style instrument rather than a fully original Fender/Squier bass.
Features/Notes:
This is not the bass for someone looking for a collector-grade all-original example. This is the bass for someone who wants an affordable MIJ player with real personality, a great neck, and a unique look that stands out from the crowd.
