Made in Japan Godzilla Stratocaster Blue is a special collaboration model created to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the globally iconic tokusatsu monster film series Godzilla, which debuted in 1954, and the 70th anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster in 2024.
Inspired by the overwhelming power and presence of Godzilla, the “King of the Monsters,” this unique instrument features bold design elements throughout.

The guitar features an alder body with a myrtlewood top, finished in a deep blue stain with a gloss finish to express the heavy, commanding character synonymous with Godzilla.
The neck has a Modern “C” profile and is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets. Around the 12th fret area of the fingerboard, a striking Godzilla logo inlay is boldly placed, delivering strong visual impact.

Sound design has also been given exceptional attention. By pushing the Tone 2 knob, the built-in distortion circuit is activated. In addition, this model is equipped with the G.L.O. (Gain-Linked Optics) system (patent pending), in which the brightness of the light changes according to the amount of gain applied.
As distortion increases, the Godzilla dorsal plates designed into the pickguard illuminate more intensely, visually and sonically evoking the moment just before an enraged Godzilla unleashes its atomic breath. This creates a powerful fusion of sound and light that enhances both visual and auditory performance.

The guitar is fitted with specially developed Custom Godzilla Humbucking pickups, delivering an overwhelmingly heavy sound. Combined with the all-black hardware, every detail has been meticulously crafted, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind instrument.

This commemorative collaboration includes a special-edition neck plate, a certificate of authenticity, and a dedicated Godzilla special hardshell case.
