Ok, there a story here so bear with me. this whole thing started with a rekindled passion for Alex Lifeson and Rush music. I has originally thought I'd grab the actual Alex Lifeson Signature LP Axcess. Then I saw what they were going for and decided I didn't need one that bad. Next best thing? Standard CS Axcess. I acquired this one from a player who had two of them. It's got some honest play wear but nothing major or anything you'd call damage. just swirls, fine scratches and some mild hardware tarnish. All the things you's expect to find on a 12 year old guitar that was regularly played. The biggest issue for me was that the bridge pickup had been changed to a 2 conductor style pickup at some point so the coil tap feature didn't function. upon inspection of the electronics, it was obvious someone we'll call an "amateur" had been in there with a soldering iron. Rather than try to sort it out, I elected to get brand new CTS pots, Bumblebee Caps, Switchcraft toggle switch and jack and a set of Seymour Duncan 4 conductor Pearly Gates nickel covered humbuckers professionally installed and make this thing bulletproof and and a killer tone machine. And that's what it is! It plays like a dream, stays in tune like no other and has a huge variety of tones on tap. this one weights a featherweight 8 lbs 1 oz. as well! Killer access to the upper frets, fast and comfortable 60's slim profile neck, beautiful iced tea burst over gorgeous flame and the rock solid Floyd Rose vibrato. This guitar is a blast to play. Includes the original Lifton style CS case and COA and additional case candy.
