Vintage 1970s Ludwig Supraphonic LM400 5x14" snare drum with the classic Blue & Olive badge and chrome‑over‑aluminum shell. Serial number 975610. This is the iconic Ludwig snare you’ve heard on countless records—bright, sensitive, and versatile enough for rock, pop, funk, and more.

• Original Ludwig hardware including P85 strainer, butt plate, lugs, and hoops
• Chrome shows normal age wear and light cosmetic marks, some pitting as shown in photos, but no major dents or structural issues
• Shell is round and tunes up well
• Snare side and batter heads show playing wear; still usable, but you may want to replace them to taste
• Snare wires are functional; replace if you prefer a fresh set
