An Electro-Harmonix Bassballs with its original wooden box. The Bassballs is one of EHX’s best-known envelope filter designs, built around a twin dynamic filter setup that creates the chewy, vocal-like sweep these pedals are loved for. Although it was designed with bass in mind, it also works brilliantly on guitar for funkier, more characterful filter sounds. Vintage large-box examples like this are especially appealing, and the original wooden box adds a nice bit of period-correct charm too.

Condition:

This pedal is in very good condition. It shows light cosmetic wear consistent with normal use and age, but presents well overall. Most importantly, it is in full working condition and has been checked by us in-house.

What makes the Bassballs stand out is that it does not just give you a standard wah-style sweep. The twin-filter design produces a much more vocal, slightly synthy response, and the switchable distortion mode adds extra harmonic grit and resonance when you want a more aggressive sound. The Sensitivity control lets you tailor how strongly the effect responds to your playing attack, which is a big part of what makes these so expressive.

A great choice if you want a classic EHX filter pedal with loads of personality, plenty of vintage appeal, and the original wooden box included.
