Custom Performance Pink Fury Telecaster by Guitar Depot MX
At first glance, the Pink Fury looks elegant, subtle, and refined.
But underneath that soft satin pink finish lives a completely different animal.
Built on an original Fender Telecaster platform made in Mexico, the Pink Fury is part of our ongoing project at Guitar Depot MX focused on creating our own reinterpretations of classic Fender models through carefully selected upgrades, unique finishes, and performance-driven components.
The result is a Telecaster that keeps the soul of the original instrument while pushing its aesthetics, feel, and sonic capabilities into a completely different territory.
The Pink Fury features a custom satin pink burst finish paired with a brushed rose gold anodized aluminum pickguard, creating a visual contrast that feels elegant and understated without losing attitude.
And then comes the surprise...
At the heart of this build sits a set of Seymour Duncan Custom Shop BG1400 pickups with Alnico V magnets, delivering dramatically higher output compared to a traditional Telecaster setup.
While most Tele-style pickups typically range around 7k-9k output, this set pushes far beyond that territory:
The result is a Telecaster capable of delivering thick saturation, aggressive attack, massive harmonics, and outstanding versatility while still retaining clarity and articulation.
A push-pull coil split system expands the tonal range even further, allowing access to brighter and more open sounds when needed.
This guitar also incorporates a Variable Treble Bleed V-Treb system by PMT, designed to preserve high-end clarity and definition when lowering the volume knob.
Instead of becoming muddy or dull as volume decreases, the Pink Fury maintains presence, articulation, and responsiveness throughout the entire sweep of the control.

Guitar Depot MX has been an established guitar business since 2012, and we take pride in using genuine, carefully sourced components for every build we create.
No shortcuts.
No random parts-bin assemblies.
No fake components.
This instrument also includes a premium jacquard strap by Mexican brand Huzzah Straps, specifically selected to complement the personality and visual identity of the build.
The Pink Fury is not trying to imitate a traditional Telecaster.
It is our reinterpretation of what a Telecaster can become.
We are currently developing more custom reinterpretations of classic Fender platforms with the distinctive touch of Guitar Depot MX.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: During a video recording session, the guitar accidentally received a cosmetic ding on the neck. The mark is located on the upper area of the neck and does not affect playability, feel, or performance in any way. It is purely cosmetic.
