Fender Vintera '60s Stratocaster 3-Colour Sunburst 2022 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Fender Vintera '60s Stratocaster, finished in 3-Colour Sunburst. Built in Mexico in 2022, this guitar features a bolt-on construction with an Alder body, Maple neck and a Pau Ferro fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronised Tremolo bridge, and vintage-style tuning machines. This instrument features a trio of Vintage Style ‘60s Single-coil pickups wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and 2 tone controls. 

The Mid '60s ‘C' neck profile is comfortable in the hand, and with the wear to the nitrocellulose finish to the rear offers smooth navigation of the neck and provides a nicely lived-in feel to the playing experience. The 7.25” radius provides a great platform for chording, with the narrower fingerboard making stretching easier. This does not obstruct the ability to play lead lines up and down the neck, but rather creates an effortless playing surface to demonstrate a versatile range of styles.

The trio of Vintage Style ‘60s Single-coil pickups are featured on custom shop instruments, and provide a high end tone at a more attainable price. The create a slicing attack in the bridge position with the classic Stratocaster twang, whilst also producing a classic throaty lead tone in the neck. They provide crisp, articulate and crystalline highs with a bell-like top end, rich in harmonics and a lively bass. A versatile instrument that provides a broad tonal palette for the user to explore.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Very light indentation is present to the top edge rear of the headstock, these can be seen at close scrutiny under direct light.

Neck: Overall very good condition. A previous owner has sanded the rear of the neck to a Satin finish whilst leaving the rear of the headstock and neck heel as Gloss. With this very fine scratching can be seen where the Satin meets the Gloss finish.

Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations are present to the lower bout of the front face, these can be seen under direct light and have lightly pierced the finish but do not expose the wood. All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching, these can only be seen under direct light as is common with Gloss finishes.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register.  There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (flathead driver) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. A previous owner has replaced the original control knobs. With this the replacement knobs are elevated from the pick guard more than the original knobs would be. Light to mild scratching is present to the pick guard, these can be seen under direct light. Tremolo arm included.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.75mm - Bass 2mm

Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.

Strings on Guitar - 10-46

This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise which is not apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.

Overall excellent condition and fully functional.  All aspects of the case display light signs of past use.

Tremolo arm included.
