Fender American Performer Telecaster Satin Surf Green 2018 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Fender American Performer Telecaster electric guitar in Satin Surf Green finish. Made in the USA in 2018, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 3-Saddle Vintage-Style Strings-Through-Body Tele Bridge with Brass Barrel Saddles, Fender ClassicGear tuners, a Synthetic Bone nut, an American Performer Double Tap Humbucker, and a Yosemite Single-Coil Telecaster pickup. These pickups are wired to a 3-way pickup selector, master volume and a master tone control with a push/pull coil-split feature.

The Maple neck plays well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile feeling comfortable in the hand and offering comfortable playability in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius strikes a nice balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending. The familiar lines of the Telecaster body feel as great in the arms as ever, and provide a comfortable playing experience in both standing or seated positions. 

The pickups in this guitar provide a versatile selection of tones, each one being authentically 'Tele' whilst adding some added kick when required. The Yosemite single coil pickup in the bridge position delivers all of the chime and bell like tone the Telecaster is revered for, perfect for country and blues. The Double Tap humbucking pickup in the neck position offers unique full-throated humbucking and articulate single-coil voices while eliminating volume loss in single-coil mode. A special Alnico 4 magnet creates an expressive, well-defined voice that’s highly musical and dynamic. The Greasebucket tone circuit further assists in creating a well balanced tone by adding a mid range presence to the tone, preventing the bridge pickup from becoming too piercing. The coil-split feature adds extra versatility to an already feature-packed guitar.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching can be seen to the rear bass side waist edge, these have very slightly exposed the wood. A very light indentation can be seen to the bass side lower bout edge, this has not broken the finish. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. 

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/8" hex) included.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Very light tarnishing can be seen to the metal hardware.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
