LOCAL PICKUP IN PORTLAND, OREGON ONLY. YOU HAUL.
Selling my Squier "Standard Series" Stratocaster from 2003. The finish is a limited edition metallic "Silverburst," and the guitar has a rosewood fretboard and a white pearl pickguard that has naturally aged. It's a nice looking guitar, and it plays well with low action. I purchased this guitar last November from a little antique store in Snohomish, WA.
I believe that a previous owner replaced the pickups, because they are much hotter and punchier than any other Squier I've owned. It sounds great! The wiring also seems to be unique: Position 4 is neck and bridge instead of the typical neck and middle.
The guitar is overall in very good shape for its age. There are normal finish swirls and dings, and the typical checking near the neck pocket. There is a ding on the first fret near the G string but you wouldn't notice it if you weren't looking for it.
Includes trem bar and I can throw in a roadrunner bag if you need it.
Thanks for looking!
