Gibson Flying V 2008 - Faded Cherry

Up for sale is this 2008 Gibson Flying V in Faded Cherry — a lightweight, all-mahogany Nashville-built V that's all original and in very good condition. The Faded series gives it that worn-in satin finish right out of the box, and this one carries it well — the guitar is a comfortable, easy-playing rock machine at just under 7 lbs. It's loaded with the 496R humbucker at the neck and 500T at the bridge — a hot, aggressive pairing that's built for high-gain rock and metal but cleans up nicely when you need it — all riding on a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, Tune-O-Matic bridge, and stopbar tailpiece. There are some small dings along the edges of the body and down by the wings as shown in the photos — nothing major and completely expected on a guitar this age — but the neck and frets are in perfect condition with plenty of life left. Comes with the original brown leather Gibson hardshell case.
