This model has the same bore shape as the Custom CS series, achieving an astonishingly authentic tone and comfortable playing feel, with a beautiful finish using natural grenadilla wood. Adopting specifications similar to the bell and barrel of the high-grade Custom V series, it enables comfortable high registers, stable low registers, clear sound, and smooth, quick operation. This model is recommended for those aiming for a rich resonance and diverse expression.

Same bore shape as the higher-end CS series

The YCL-450, with its traditional Yamaha clarinet bore shape, boasts excellent projection and a clear, bright tone. It offers a comfortable playing feel and rich resonance from high to low notes, making it ideal for solo performances as well as ensembles with various instruments, allowing the clarinet's sound to shine.

Features an adjustable thumb rest with a strap ring

An adjustable thumb rest is included for easier handling, even for those with smaller hands. The adjustable position allows for comfortable use over extended periods. A strap ring has also been added, allowing for stable and comfortable support of the instrument when used with a strap (sold separately).
