BOSS CS-2 is a vintage analog compressor pedal known for its warm, musical compression and smooth sustain. Key features include:

• Analog VCA circuit: Replaced the photo-coupler from the CS-1 for more natural compression
• Controls: LEVEL, ATTACK, and SUSTAIN knobs for intuitive tone shaping
• Sound character: Slight EQ shaping (low/high cut), giving a focused, warm tone ideal for rhythm and lead guitar
• Power: ACA adapter or 9V battery; low current draw (4mA)
