Ibanez J Custom RG1802 in Silky Black finish made in 1997 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a bound AAAA flamed maple top, 3-piece maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with a DiMarzio Humbucker From Hell in the neck position and a DiMarzio Steve's Special in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot and a 5-way blade switch with coil tap on positions 2 & 4 on the blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has abalone offset dot inlays and black side markers with 24 jumbo frets on a 430mm radius with an RG J Custom profile. The hardware is comprised of black Gotoh sealed die-cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Top Lok III nut, an Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge Double Locking Tremolo bridge and black knurled dome knobs.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. The back has some surface marks, scratches above the trem cavity and small dents/finish chips. There is a small finish chip below the bridge. The back of the neck has small dings and dents with a larger dent at the 2nd fret on the bass side. There is some slight discoloration of the binding. There is some pitting in the plating on the hardware along with some light rust. Because the Dunlop strap buttons are flush-mounted and it did not come to us with its original strap locks, we have included a pair of gold strap locks. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
