An absolutely killer bass! EBMM instruments are well know for their attention to detail and high level of fit and finish. This one certainly will impress, with the classic Stingray tone and excellent feeling neck. This particular example is a bit unique, in a relatively uncommon and quite striking color - along with awesome matching headstock. This one weighs in at a breezy 8.6lbs, truly a welcome weight for a bass with these specs.
It features a roasted maple neck with an ebony board, along with stainless steel frets that make slapping a breeze. The pickup is quite versatile with the 3-position switch, along with its full 3-band EQ and 18v preamp. The tuners are high end units, and the bridge is beety with easy to adjust saddles. Likewise, the trussrod is also easy to adjust without requiring removal of the strings.
It is in nice shape, with a few minor signs of use, to include a bit of the plating chipped on one of the tuning pegs, some scuffing along the top of the stock, and a few small nicks/scuffs on the body. Overall though, it presents quite well and looks beautiful.
It is currently setup with nice low action and plays easily for funk, the a fresh set of DR Hi-Beams.
