The S420 is an S series solid body electric guitar model made by Ibanez. It was introduced in 2010. It is a 24-fret version of the S320, which it essentially replaced. Previously, all S models introduced since 1987 had 22 frets. In 2008 Ibanez introduced the first 24-fret S Prestige models based around the S5470. In 2010 all S models got a 24-fret neck.

Features of the S420 include a mahogany body, Ibanez-made Infinity pick-ups and a ZR tremolo. At the 2010 Summer NAMM Show, Blackberry Sunburst was introduced as an additional finish. For 2011, the Wizard II neck is renamed Wizard III.

One owner before me, purchased in 2023-Oct. In extreme good condition, new strings, will eventually need a neck and fret clean-up upon arrival, no cracks, no dents, no scratches, I barely played it, kept in padded bags and/or rigid hardcases, together with de-humidifiers. - - - RARE!
