About This Listing

This Historic Collection Les Paul from 2004 features a hard, plain maple top (likely hard rock maple) and a slightly thicker neck shape characteristic of the '58 model. The pickups are a Burstbucker #1 in the front and a Burstbucker #2 in the rear. Released the year after '03, this model saw a significant improvement in authenticity due to an ABR-1 bridge with retainer wires, an aluminum tailpiece, and Bumblebee capacitors.

Judging from the lineup at the time, the color name is likely “Iced Tea”(Iced Tea Burst). Due to aging, there is some red discoloration in the corners of the body top, as well as slight fading on parts of the body back and the back of the neck.

It appears to be in full original condition; while there are some minor scratches and slight tarnish on the metal parts, considering this is a guitar over 20 years old, wear is minimal.
Due to the nature of the “Hatt” knobs used by Hiscole, there are a few cracks on the tops of the control knobs, but these do not affect playability.

The frets show minimum wear and the neck is in good condition.
This is a fantastic guitar featuring a sturdy, solid neck and a wonderful sound—full of grit yet with well-defined contours—characteristic of an HRM top and Burstbucker pickups.

CONDITION
This used guitar is in great cosmetic and functional condition for being nearly 20 years old.
The neck and frets are in great shape and playability is optimal after professional maintenance.
All photos are of the actual item.
Listing includes the original brown case but is missing the certificate of authenticity which is reflected in the low price.
