1998 Peavey Wolfgang Special USA Ivory with case and Paperwork "Closet Queen"
The Peavey EVH Wolfgang Special was a budget version of the Peavey Wolfgang that didn't compromise on quality in parts or craftsmanship. It was made in the USA, and introduced in 1998 and discontinued around 2004. It had a flat top, a single volume knob, three-way pickup toggle switch, two Peavey/EVH-designed humbucker pickups, licensed Floyd Rose tremolo with D-Tuna (d-tuner device), oil-finished hard rock maple neck and fingerboard with dual graphite reinforcement rods, straight headstock, and chrome tuners.
If it were not for a few little dimples in the finish you could hang this in the shop and think it was 1998 all over again! Made right here in the U.S. of A! There are no finish cracks, no finish checking. This is a true case queen, minimal play wear… And I do mean minimal. Rarely played and never used the trem arm so the bridge and posts are like new. Has the original inspection sheet, EVH strings, instruction pamphlet and of course, the case. The Guitar is currently strung with the recommended gauge (Ernie Ball) .042 -.009. The only modifications made were a set of EVH eye-hooks and upgraded to a set of NOS Schaller tuners from Period Correct Guitars which came from the factory when the Wolfgangs were in production. Recently inspected and professionally setup. Truss rod, bridge and action adjusted. Everything functions as it should. You don’t get 28 year-old guitars that are in this condition often. Guitar will be insured when shipped and require a signature. Comes as seen and is sold as is. Shipping is free!
