2021 Model. An ES-335 with current specifications has arrived!

The ES-335 has been in continuous production since its debut in 1958. Alongside the Les Paul Standard, it reigns as an iconic Gibson electric guitar. The unit that has arrived here is the standard model; the specifications established in 2020 remain unchanged as of 2025.

It is equipped with "Calibrated T-Type" pickups, modeled after the "Numbered PAF" pickups of the late 1960s. They are characterized by a sound that is slightly crisper than the early original PAFs. The tone is exceptionally well-balanced, adding a touch of sparkle to the warm sound characteristic of semi-hollow guitars. The neck features the standard "Rounded C" profile, offering a grip that suits any playing style. The body is a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple construction—a reliable specification that has remained unchanged since 1958. Other classic features include a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard.

The fact that the specifications have remained largely unchanged speaks to the ES-335's high level of perfection as an instrument.

The ES-335 is a model that will likely endure as long as electric guitars exist; it is a guitar we believe everyone should experience at least once.
