Show Some Love →Selling my 1997 Gibson Les Paul Special. I'm the second owner for the last 23 years. This model came w/ P100 pick ups, but the original owner swapped them out for P90s, also changed the stock tuners to Grovers.
There is some minor finish checking down the side of the binding (see photos) but this is naturally relic'd. The guitar has never left So Cal. Some other minor paint nicks too but all blemishes are on the back of the guitar. The headstock has never been broken.
For a 30 year old guitar, it's in GREAT shape. Plays like butter, sounds like rock n roll. Does not have an original case, but I am including my 80s "chainsaw" case that's fully intact.
Up for reasonable offers, especially local pick up in LA. If you're low ballin' and you're not in the ballpark, I won't hear you. Rock on.
