The S-300’s unique battleaxe-style silhouette is alive and well in this faithful reissue, as is its mahogany solidbody construction, properly contoured at the top and back of the waist and at the cutaways for unobtrusive performance. Also making a period-correct appearance are its 24.75-inch scale length and set mahogany neck, carved to a comfortable Vintage Soft U profile, enhancing the guitar’s flawlessly navigable feel. Capped with a 24-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard leveled to a 12.5-inch radius, this 6-string brings its rock-steady roots up to modern performance standards.

Throughout the S-300, steady nickel-finished hardware and sharp stylistic appointments complement this guitar’s fabulous tone and feel. At the body, Guild’s redesigned Ultimate Angle Tune-o-matic bridge and compensated tailpiece provide excellent intonation and lasting sustain, while a set of Grover G2 tuning machines keeps you in tune up top.
