Fender Stratocaster Jr with Rosewood Fretboard 2004 (Hardtail Strat Junior) Mini Short Scale - Torino Red

This is the rare and incredibly cool Fender Stratocaster Jr. Not to be confused with the Squier Mini Strat or the MIJ Juniors. This is the short run series, Fender Made in Mexico Junior Stratocaster, distinguished by the hardtail bridge with string-through body, Fender Standard pickups and the 22.72" scale length. This little guy rocks.

• Alder body with gloss Torino red poly finish
• Maple neck with 60s style headstock and Rosewood fretboard, both beautifully figured
• Fender sealed tuners (nice and smooth) and vintage style hardtail bridge -- neck angle is great on this one, with very comfortable saddles and no adjustment screws poking out
• 3 Fender Standard single coils, 5-way switch and master volume/master tone
• Frets nice and smooth with no notable divots. Fretboard freshly oiled and brand new strings as of listing date.

You can tell I love this guitar. Why am I selling it? I have two. They're both great, but this one has better wood grain.

Normal light playwear for its age. Frets look good. Controls work well. Note the small light spot on the finish inside the treble horn. It's completely smooth to the touch. It seems the red poly was sanded a touch thin before the clear coat was added. It adds character and has never been an issue. There's a small neck pocket crack on the other side, visible in photo if you zoom in.
