Fender Tony Franklin Fretless Precision Bass 2023 - Lake Placid Blue

This is the signature model of Tony Franklin, a renowned master of the fretless bass.

It features an alder body, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard.

The pickups consist of a Fender Tony Franklin American Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup and a DiMarzio Model J DP123. Although they are from different manufacturers, this combination provides a well-balanced volume between the neck and bridge pickups.

In addition to the master volume and tone controls, it features a pickup selector switch. The bass is also equipped with a D-Tuner on the 4th string, offering specifications designed to maximize the versatility required for session work.

In terms of condition, there are some signs of use, including finish chips and scratches, but the instrument remains in good playing condition.

The serial number begins with “US22,” but this particular instrument was completed in 2023.
