Gretsch Gretsch G6118T-LTV 130th Ann. Jr. 2013 - 2-Tone Black/Metallic Gold

Gretsch G6118T-LTV 130th Ann. Jr. Guitar

In celebration of its 130th anniversary, Gretsch introduces a beautiful new Professional Collection guitar—the G6118T-LTV 130th Anniversary Jr. model. Its 2 1/4”-deep single-cutaway three-ply maple body has a 14” lower bout, arched top and back, and spruce “ML” bracing. Especially striking is the nitrocellulose lacquer finish, which is Black on the top and Metallic Gold on the back and sides, with single-ply binding Other premium features include a three-piece maple neck; 12”-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic™ “thumbnail” inlays and bone nut; Anniversary model plaque and pearloid Gretsch logo on headstock; and dual TV Jones® Power’Tron™ pickups. The guitar also has a metallic gold pickguard, “G” Arrow” control knobs and chrome hardware, an Adjusto-Matic™ bridge with pinned ebony base and Bigsby® B3CB tailpiece, and Gotoh® locking tuners. Available in right- and left- handed models, and deluxe hard-shell case included.

Condition:  9.6/10 Beautiful Guitar no dents, dings, chips, or scratches anywhere.  The reason for 9.6 out of 10 is that it has some nitrocellulose lacquer crazing and checking on the neck heal area near neck joint.  I had it looked at be a Luither and he said the neck was in great shape and what I am seeing is completely normal.  Where the neck joins the body is very solid and not showing any signs of issues.  I purchased this many years back and it has been stored, in the case, not being played, in a climate-controlled smoke free home studio. No fret wear. Will be shipped with photo’d security tags.
