Epiphone Les Paul Custom Modern - Translucent Ebony Burst - 2026 - Plek'ed

This is a limited edition that was exclusively available via Gibson's website for a short while. It basically marrys the features of the LP Custom and the LP Modern, but with a few extras, such as Epiphone T-Type Pro pickups and stainless "ball end" frets. This particular guitar had a problem with the electronics, so I swapped them for an ObsidianWire PCB with coil splitting and selectable 50s/60s wiring. I also replaced the heavy 18:1 Grover tuners with lighter 20:1 Kluson Revolution tuners. It has also been Plek'ed and professionally set up with 9-46 strings and very low action.

It has "ultra modern" weight relief and is quite lightweight as a result (for a Les Paul anyway). My bathroom scale isn't accurate enough to give me a consistent reading, but it's under 8 pounds.

There's a little bit of the usual play wear and a couple of superficial scratches that I tried my best to get a good picture of. I just changed the strings and conditioned the fretboard. Overall it's in fantastic condition, but I'm listing it as "very good" on account of the fact that some components have been replaced. Message me if you have any questions.
